Life…! Friends! Life is what you make it!
Youths! I Choose Life for Africa, what choice can you make or have u made for Finland? Uuumm! A hint……!
Fellow youths!! Have you ever thought of what can put all the Finnish young peoples' minds together with one vision, mission and objective?
Have a glimpse of what we have back home, in Africa.
I Choose Life (ICL), Africa is a national program for all the youths in Africa with the objective of contributing to the reduction of HIV preference and susceptibility to infections among the youths. Its main vision is to have an AIDs Free Africa. It aims at empowering the youths to make informed and responsible choices on HIV/AIDS and life, through prevention, care, support and mitigation of social-economic impact.
This program involves training peer educators within universities in Kenya and the surrounding communities.
Through these activities the youths are involved, thereby reducing the idleness and as a result their well-being is boosted.
How about if you came up with a program for yourselves?
Very intelligent minds of Finnish youngsters when put together can make a better and health enriching activity for all the youths in Finland.
The first step to doing this is to first have the major problem among the youths identified. Then ideas on the best way to deal with the problem are taken from different youths. And finally, the ball will be set rolling for coming up with the program.
Protect youths! Protect the nation! Pave way for the upcoming generation to have something to do with their free time, besides having fun with friends through drinking alcohol and smoking which puts their lives in lives in great danger.
My plea to you all is to think of your life as a youth, 10-20years down the line, what productive thing will you have done for your fellow youths or those who are coming up after you.
Is it that they will have learnt how to drink and smoke when having fun or learning on the ways of leaving a healthy life here and there after?
Think critically about it! And act fast!
All this, is with love for my Finnish friends.
Make Life Better even after you Live!
